The dogs they took are still alive (we hope) and we want to get them out of there! Many of the animals they took are disabled, or seniors with medical conditions and we worry that they will not survive the stress of being misplaced.
We are reaching out to you in our GREATEST hour of need to ask if you can donate to our cause. We have hired an attorney and we will fight these allegations in a court of law in front of a jury of our peers. However, attorneys are costly, something a non-profit 501.3c, NO KILL animal rescue operated by a disabled VET does not have the funds for. Please contribute in any way you can!
Please Help Us Save These Animals!
• Call or email The Humane Society and voice your opinion on their actions. (animalcareservices@greenvillecounty.org (864) 242-3626 or (864) 467-3950)
• Urge them to return the animals to Loving Home where they will get the loving care they deserve and not killed because they are not the cute little puppies and kittens that everyone wants to take home.
• Contact the newspapers and local television stations and let them know what’s going on.
• Please spread the word about this awful situation to everyone you know!
If you would like to financially contribute, you can donate by Pay Pal by clicking on the Pay Pal link in the top right hand corner of our blog.
A RESCUER’S CREED
I shall be a believer of all that is good in man and of all that deserves in animals. I shall plead for their lives, campaign for their safety and uphold their right to a natural death. I shall seek out the injured and the maimed, the unloved, and the abandoned and tend to them in their last days. I shall not forget their place in the hierarchy of life, nor that do we walk in each other's paths. I shall bear witness to the wonder they bring into our lives and to the beauty they bestow upon our souls. I shall renew their spirits when they are waning, bind their wounds when they bleed, cradle them when they whimper, and comfort them when they mourn. I shall be near them in their hour of greatest need - a companion and friend when the time has come. I shall watch over them and console them and ask that the angels gather them in their arms. From the creatures of the earth I shall learn the fruits of compassion and undying love, and I shall be called the beloved of God. In their company I shall indeed be blessed. -Susan M. Pearson
